Health at Every Size is not a diet book, it’s a book about how to alter your mindset regarding food and exercise. It is very similar to a book we read a month or so ago, Intuitive Eating. Both are excellent conversations about two important topics. One, diets don’t work. Two, getting to know your body’s signals is much more important than calorie counting or any other weight loss tactic.
I don’t have much to say about this book because, as I said, it is very similar to a book we already read. I have to say that as much as I admire both books, it is important to understand that all the advice doesn’t apply evenly to everyone. Pick and choose what works for you and leave the rest.
Best of luck.
