I'm Just as Surprised as You

Time Flies When You Have No Idea What You’re Doing

This week marks the first anniversary of Felicia and I writing these little notes and sending them out into the universe. Time flies when you have no idea what you’re doing.

Going back over the past year of posts, I am very proud of what we have accomplished. Sure, the grammar gets a little dicey and I really need to shorten my sentences but on the whole, well done us!

We have talked about a wide variety of topics, there was a highly contentious election we were a tiny part of, we ate a lot of donuts, read a lot of books, and I can’t believe the recipe challenge is still a viable thing.

Well, somewhat viable.

What have we learned? Besides the fact I don’t like to cook?

Unlike humans, wherein the first year brings great change, our first year has mostly been an exercise in tenacity.

As much as I wish I had something meaningful to say, I really don’t. And that is because as usual I am late getting this written. It’s Sunday afternoon and I want this posted by 6am tomorrow morning.

For the next six days we will be rerunning some of our favorite posts. We hope you have enjoyed the past year as much as we have. We were thinking of replacing one of our weekly posts, maybe that damn recipe challenge, with pictures of handsome men.

I think it’s a genius idea. Let us know what you think.
